MISTI Johor 2010
Our Sales Team traveled to Johor Bahru to exhibit in Johor Science, Technology and ICT Week (MISTI JOHOR). It was one of the many events planned by Johor Science, Technology and ICT Unit (USTICT Johor). Apart from providing exposure to the latest development in science, technology and ICT, it also promotes the development of The Johor New State Administrative Centre at Kota Iskandar and Wilayah Pembangunan Iskandar. tnt has achieved an impressive 3-Star rating under the SME Competitive Rating for Enhancement (SCORE) program, which was conducted by SMECorp, an agency under Ministry of International Trade & Industry. By December 2009, only 24.5 percent of the companies scored were awarded 3-Stars, while no company received 5 stars at all. What's worse than buying pirated software? What's worse than buying pirated software? Buying software that poses as legal software, but actually not. Some software maker in the market bundled data without authorization from the copyright owners. They mislead customers into buying their "original software" with unauthorized data. You end up paying more for something that is illegal anyway. Software is licensed, not sold How can this happen? First of all, we need to understand that software is not "sold" per se. While we habitually say we "buy" software, we are actually paying a licensing fee for the right to use the software. The terms and conditions are described in the license agreement, which is an agreement between you as the user, and the software maker. Happy Chinese New Year
